Fish is one of the healthiest seafood’s and a highly delicious option for all the non-vegetarians. One of the easiest and yummiest ways of cooking fish is the ‘Indian Style Homemade Fish Curry (Mustard Fish Curry)’. This delicious fish dish can be served as a dinner or lunch. You can also pair this dish with chapati or rice. Serve hot during lunch and dinner.
Ingredient of Indian Style Homemade Fish Curry:-
Here I am going to described the whole ingredient of fish curry that’s main ingredient is sarso (black or red mustard), 1 kg Fish, Dhaniya(Coriander) powder, Jira(Cumin) Powder, Haldi Powder, Black pepper Powder, Red chili Powder, Garlic Paste if you want then use ginger & garlic paste easily available in market but I only used garlic paste in it, a lemon to wash fish properly, garam masala, coriander leaves(Dhaniya patta) finished chopped, Tomato purry and salt to taste.
Process of making Indian Style sarso fish curry:-
Let’s start the making process of Indian Style homemade yummy fish curry first we take a plate to wash our fish. Put some lemon juice in plate and mix well with fish then wash it with tap water properly, lemon lowered the smell of fish and their fishy oiliness.
In properly washed fish we add 1 or ½ small spoon salt , 1 small spoon haldi, 1 small spoon dhaniya and jira powder and mix it well and leave it for 5 to 10 minute.
Put Pan on Oven and wait until it became hot then put mustard oil to fry our marinated fish, Fry all fish properly and put it in dry vessels.
Drain all Pan Oil in a separate jar and then put fresh oil in pan never use previous oil to make fish curry because it makes your curry little bit bitter in taste. So don’t used this always use fresh mustard oil to make fish curry. Put some methi in oil when oil became hot after that put haldi 1 table spoon, 2 table spoon dhaniya powder, 2 table spoon jira, 1 table spoon black pepper, 1 or 1/2 table spoon red chili powder, 2 table spoon ginger garlic paste mix all this well in pan and fry it upto 10 minute then put 3 table spoon mustard paste and fry it for 5 minute in hot pan then put 3 table spoon tomato purry in it and wait and fry it until oil came from the paste.
Put some water in whole well fried spices and boil it for 5 minute then put all fried fish in it, 1 table spoon garam masala and chopped coriander leaves, boiled again for 2 to 3 minute and your indian style homemade fish curry is ready to serve with chapatti or rice.
